The Arts and Culture Center at the Rias Palace Bastion received Mr. Samuel Sangwa, the regional director of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) for the African region, on the morning of Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Mr. Samuel Sangwa was able to explore the architectural elements that make up the monument, as well as the restoration operations it underwent during its phased rehabilitation until its use as the headquarters of the Arts and Culture Center. The visit also highlighted the social life at that time, the various popular practices in palaces, and even the military heritage associated with the fortress as a fundamental defensive structure.
