In a rich cultural atmosphere, the Arts and Culture Center at the Palace of the Presidents of the Sea organized – Fort 23, on Saturday, November 15, 2025, a literary gathering dedicated to the presentation of the book Les Pharmacies de la Résistance by author Mohamed Damargi and Professor Mohamed Cherif Agbalou, as well as the presentation of the book Casbah of Algiers by authors Mohamed Damargi and Radia Damargi.
🔸️The meeting was attended by a select audience interested in literary and historical matters, and featured valuable contributions highlighting the importance of the two works in documenting milestones in the national memory and their interpretation of the urban and cultural heritage of the Casbah from an in-depth research and historical perspective. The event also provided an opportunity for direct interaction between the authors and the audience, who expressed their appreciation for the efforts made to preserve Algeria’s written memory.
This cultural activity supports the Center’s strategy to encourage literary creativity, highlight the efforts of Algerian writers, and promote the status of books within the national cultural scene.
