#Protests_11December1960
♦️On the eternal anniversary of the December 11, 1960 demonstrations, we recall one of the brightest pages of the Algerian national struggle; that moment when the people took to the streets across the nation, united under one banner and one voice: Freedom for Algeria.
Those popular demonstrations were more than just a protest… They were a clear declaration to the world that the Algerians, regardless of their ages and backgrounds, chose the path of sovereignty and rejected all attempts to undermine their will. In the face of oppression and violence, the citizens stood with open chests, proving that the strength of belief in the cause is stronger than any weapon.
The demonstrations of December 11, 1960, changed the course of history when they broke the barrier of international silence, exposed the truth and brutality of colonialism, and made the voice of the Algerian people reach global bodies, supporting the course of the revolution and paving the way toward the moment of glorious independence.
And today, as we commemorate this anniversary, we honor the souls of the martyrs who ascended during it, and we revive the values of solidarity, courage, and unity that forged Algeria’s victory. The commemoration of this day is not merely a return to the past, but a renewed pledge to safeguard the homeland, protect its memory, and enhance its civilizational message among nations.
May God have mercy on the martyrs of December 11, and all the martyrs of Algeria. Glory and eternal remembrance to the martyrs.
