International Day of Persons with Disabilities
♦️In celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, observed on December 3rd each year, the Arts and Culture Center at the Palace of the Sea Leaders – Fort 23, in coordination with the State Union of the Blind, organized a dedicated recognition day for this segment of society, in appreciation of their status and effective role in various fields.
This commemorative day included a series of purposeful interventions presented by union members as well as a group of university professors, addressing the importance of integrating and empowering this segment in work and creative spaces, with a focus on valuing the abilities of people with disabilities and enhancing their participation in cultural, scientific, and economic life.
At the conclusion of the event, the center renewed its commitment to continue working on instilling the values of solidarity and citizenship, and to providing inclusive spaces that allow individuals with special needs to showcase their talents and actively contribute to the path of social and cultural development.
